Good Morning!

You guys were up late~ I was tucked in bed sleeping soundly!!!

Today is my last day at work this week! I am taking a 4 day weekend. I can't wait! Maybe I will get some chicken chores done or maybe just clean up for the company that will come on Sunday. LOL.

Today I get to see Maribeth and some of her ducklings that I am transporting for Poco Pollo (Coral) tomorrow. AND I get to pick up my new pullets and hens from Coral!

I know, I know...

I can't help it! I am sooooo excited!

Well it is a lovely morning, cool, and the birds are singing, the roosters are crowing and I have like a million and one things to get done today.

Have to head into town (don't want to) but have to actually pick up my check for teaching summer school, they are not directly depositing it like the regular pay this year.

Pay bills, etc, etc. May see if my offspring is off work today so we can get together for lunch. My DD is so wonderful, taking classes this summer, working full-time, supports herself I am very proud of her.

morning all!! hot already!!

got a question for ya- can i use ivomec drops on the dogs and would it kill fleas? got to thinking about that- gonna spray the dog yard today and that should help...

was looking at emmi my lb pullet- where she had the neck laceration- the new skin is doing its job but it looks to me like she will have a flap there the roo will always be able to grab- hubby suggested supergluing it?? seems a bit much to do that?

Its a nice and cool day here in Tennessee today too! temp droping down into the 80's. Hopefully the birds will enjoy the respite from the heat.
Greybear and other game raisers I was enjoying the the ads this morning in my area for games, there were white clarets, boles, bluefaced hatch,Hammertime liepers, and slick lizard dark legged sweaters! Funny thing is they all (at least the hens) look alike!lol.I think everyone names their own birds as a breed!If you abbreviated them you would never be able to guess what the letters stood for!lol.
