Good morning Okies!! its been a looooooooooooooooooooong time since i have posted!! bought the new house got settled in,got my chickens home(thanks Neecy) Black Magic our roo that Neecy got us is awesome! so how have y'all been?

Great to see you Queen Scoot!

It is wonderful that you have your chickens home again. I think your rooster is one that I rehomed for a friend of mine. She will be delighted to know he is doing well. Her chickens/roos are more pets than livestock so hopefully he has a good disposition.

I was thinking he was a black australorp, but it has been a long time since I delivered him to Neecy in Guthrie.

I forget which is which but you can tell the breed whether it is Australorp or Giant by looking at the bottom of the feet. One breed it is yellow and the other is white.

LOL well whatever he is hes a sweetie and you can tell your friend he is very friendly loved dearly and will never go in the stew pot and he has a home he forever till he passes.

morning folks!! welcome to all the new folks!

remember the little wynadot pullet i got at poops that couldn't walk? well she is now in the teenager flock being integrated into the main flock, and began singing an egg song yesterday! hard to believe this little gal couldn't move around a few months ago!

And- as far as what kind of goose Poser is... either a chinese or embdon, they didn't know at orchlens, but he is fun to have around!
they also like webworms!!

stay close to the AC today folks, its already 80! yuk!

I have nothing but work in front of me. So much to get done & not enough hours in the day. I work till I can't go anymore then shower & go to bed.

I am glad you will get some down time with the girls, I know you need it. Tell them I said hello! Are ya gonna cook them some great food????
