The last couple of nights something has been dinging up our chicken run door where our ducks go at night and we have had to place the wheel barrow in front of it to keep it from being opened or damaged any further.....

Still looking for a Great Pyrenees puppy or two if anyone breeds them or know of someone who does.. preferably with working parents on sight... There was a gal on Craigslist who had a near 1 year old but this one was "pet" I dont want a pet I want a worker and I prefer them young enough to train with all our animals.. poultry, fowl, equine and goats.


Its supper time and CHICKEN is on the menu.. ha ha just dont tell my hens they might go on strike again.

Sale will be starting 4 pm. Some of things we do at 2 will now be at 4. We are going to hold that portion down so that the poultry portion will still start at 5. May sell odd items for 30 min. then sell goats (a lot will depend how many goats show up).

Hi Betsy! The Cement, OK show is November 27. It's the OK State Cornish meet, an OEGB meet, some other meets that I have forgotten, and now an ASBC meet!

Also new chicken auction in Ryan Ok. about an hour from anywhere. About hour from Wichita Falls texas, hour from Lawton, Hour from Chickasha OK, hour from Ardmore ok, and hour from Decatur Texas. About 2 hours however from Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Durant, just to name a few.

The Auction is being put on by a Local Guy from Ryan, who just enjoys the trade, he is now doing a special chicken, and other poultry along with rabbit sale, at every other month right now with a few threw in between. He said if the crowd wants it he will began to do it more often. Can get on mailing list for more auction dates. Super good sale although a little small right now. The conact info for the sale is 940-631-0839. The Next sale is Sept. 25, 2010, at 5pm

I was wanting to go, but I'm trying to save money to go to Texas next month to see Bil before he leaves for Afganistan. I'm trying to balance out the cost of gas, how much I could expect to get for the birds I need to sell, and how badly I'd like to get out of the house.
