There should be a post about it a page or so back.

POOPS )People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap.
It is April 25th at the KOA just East of OKC at the Choctaw exit.

We are gonna meet, eat, eat meat, swap some poultry and rabbits and have a blast.
Al is gonna smoke seventy seven kinds of meat. Teach is gonna teach a class on genetics, Hennies is gonna play on her flat top box and we are all gonna sing songs around the campfire.
The kids are gonna run wild!
Did I mention food.
We are gonna have games, door prizes and food.
There will be eggs, chicks, chickens, rabbits, and maybe ducks turkeys and geese Oh My!
Stimpy is gonna wrestle a bear!
We are gonna show Teach our spider collections so he can get over his fear of arachnids.
Ok well, most of this is true. I still haven't found a bear and Stimpy hasn't agreed to wrestle it but those are just details.
I think Don and AL are gonna team up and show us how to build an incubator out of a walk in Freezer and used micowaves.
We are gonna have fun fun fun until daddy takes the T-birds away.
For the most part we are just getting together with like minded folks to have fun and fellowship.

Good grief

Hennie thanks, you just put it all in one place for me!! It sounds like sooooo much fun that it might just be a weekend for me and the family! If not me & hubby might just have a grown up weekend!

I will check some date and get back with ya'll.

Love the "Know your from Oklahoma"!!

I have some turkens that are a 2-3 months old and a few that are younger. Most that are remaining appear to be roosters though

Some of us are Okies by birth and some are Okies by choice. I think that if I were to ever move from Oklahoma I would still claim Oklahoma as my "home" state. Sounds like you are within hollering distance of Oklahoma.

Greybear - are ya'll alright up there? Looks like the windy weather is trying to do an encore performance of some of the tornados we have had in the past. What is it about Mulhall that seems to be a magnet for storms?

Of course we have a bad thunderstorm... I was at Bible Study! They let us out and it got bad enough I parked my pickup at the gas station. Lots of rain! Passed all the SKYWARN guys as I was heading outta town... They were headin' east..... and I was headin' west... That's just wrong.

Do you raise turkey's too?? I am looking for some red babies or eggs.

Hey pandb thanks for askin, we are all ok here, a little wet and had to tie myself to a big oak tree to keep from ending up in KANSAS. The wind finally slowed down and the rain smells so good!!!! I had to batton down all the chicken pens but think all came through ok. How is evryone else, anyone on here from Crescent or Mulhall areas??? Lynn
