Did they say why they didn't want to do them>??? I thought that is what they did "poulty processing"

I would like to find some time to be able to come help someone process so I can see if it is something I am willing to do on my own.

I recently talked to DARP about getting ducks and turkeys processed and was told that after they go through an inspection scheduled for the last of October, they plan to send their inspector for training on the inspection of ducks and turkeys, so they can begin processing them at the end of November. The paperwork for certification is in place, but the inspector needs training that takes several days. I hope to be able to get some ducks processed by DARP after the 1st of December.

hehe were gonna fry them so I will take a second 55 gallon drum and cut it off for the fit

Got my errands ran and almost finished with the quilt. And have sold all the extra guniea pigs from the auction! Now I only have one male and five females and they are paid for!(makes the wife happy when I do that!lol)
Wow a 45 turkey must be a challenge to dress.I can only think of the few dealings I have had with turkeys and I usuall got beat up with their wings!lol.Almost as bad as wrestling emus!
MM you be careful trying to lift those scalding birds in an out of that barrel!Getting hurt isn't worth the turkey dinner!lol
