Good morning! Welcome all newbies!

Looks like Im the first one on this morning. We got lights up in almost all the pens and added more heat to the babies pen just in case. I think for a project today we are going to build new nest boxes. This should be fun! But at least when we are done everybody should have a nest box(I have a few without).

Do your kids do 4H? If so that would be a good way to start otherwise you just have to get some quality stock & find a show you want to enter.

Morning Steph I am here but I'm fighting the coffee machine to get my coffee!

Today will be a full day, I will go to church, then to Grandma's to take care of meds, then home to paint & clean floors & then back to the Christmas program at church......So how I don't think I will get much done.

Your day sounds like my days just different errands..... That is why I am glad the kids are on Christmas break, Im hoping it will slow down some.

We havent had time to do alot for the chickens in a while. I had alot without nestboxes all summer. It didnt seem to be a big issue since most of the ones that had a nestbox didnt use it, they laid behind the dang things. So Im hoping that if we make new ones with alittle more room and a little more enclosed they will work better. What I was using the nestbox filler was falling out of them. We grew too many breeds too fast. Now we are playing catch up.

Considering I am not ready for Christmas my week will just get worse! I have to fit shopping in somewhere.

LOL.... Im glad Im not the only one. I dont even have my tree up yet, and lets not even mention the presents that are suppose to go under it, I havent got any of that started either. I usually have it up the day after Thanksgiving.

Steph me too! I do it on the weekend after Thanksgiving! This year I spent the entire evening moving the furniture around only to figure out it wouldn't fit so I had to put it back & we have no tree. I have to still get alot of things but if my sister doesn't hurry up with her kids they are getting cash in an envelope. That would make my life easier anyways.
