In that case...you need to define the following words, draw a picture of it (even the ones that are things...yup be creative) and use it in a sentence that shows you understand the meaning so to say you don't know the meaning of the word doesn't work nice try.

and the words are

genotype, exothermic, heterogeneous, viscosity, hypothesis, biotic, inertia, monohybrid cross, analogous, catalyst, isotopes, thermodynamics

have fun it is due at the end of the hour

Roy,
I certainly understand the concept of wood becoming part of a trip planned for other purposes. I want some small cedar trees or at least some branches to put in the corner of the pheasant pens, so the hens will feel like they have some cover. I just need to remind Dean that I want them BEFORE he goes to the deer woods to bring the camper home, so he will remember to take appropriate tree cutting equipment with him.

I like that you put appropriate tree cutting equipment down...I once removed a small tree with a shotgun...it took several shots but it eventually fell. I t was a nasty little tree in a bad spot and well...we were bored and not supervised properly. have you thought about growing some sort of bush for them? there are those long grasses that bunch well and such...or some sort of funky evergreen...I can't grow nothing but boys myself...and those two are kinda wierd. I have given up on grass. trying to get my wife to let me have a water feature but she correctly thinks it is just a ploy to let the ducks wander a bitmore than usual...a guy can try...

I thought the bone saw for the deer should have been sufficient to cut a few cedar limbs, or maybe his hunting knife - but Dean didn't see it that way.

I am thinking about planting some Vitex in the corners of the pens. It can be trained to be a shrub or a tree and the bees like its flowers, if you plant the right variety. It is fairly hardy once it is established and would have a lot of small branches just right for hiding pheasants, when it is in full leaf.

Dean also is not fond of the ducks. He didn't mind the runner ducks because they stay in one area. The Muskovey ducks however have begun getting into every area of the various yards and utilizing every source of livestock water as their personal swimming hole. It isn't even so much that the water stays dirty as it is the mud that is constantly present around the livestock waterers, that has him aggravated.

"Inertia" is what I feel when it is really cold outside, and the "viscosity" of water is severely reduced because it has become ice.

My working hypothesis is the first few chickens a person aquires is the catalyst that causes an exothermic reaction in the math centers of the brain, slowing the viscosity of the neuro fluids between the neurons causing the condition commonly called chicken math, but you won't find that hypothesis in any thermodynamics text book currently available.

Thanks, but they're history. Anything soft and squishy is a lost cause, especially a bulb. I checked roots to be sure on some, but it was apparent which plants survived and which didn't. (pineapple, pots of basil, and the cantaloupe that I've been hand pollinating so it would set fruit are just piles of green slime.)

OTOH, I've been saying for a couple of years that I wanted to use the space as an unheated greenhouse for winter sowing seeds and holding over hardy perennials but I hated to give up my decorative hobby plants. (the succulents, tropicals and semi tropicals that <s>are</s> were my "pets". I was just hoping to enjoy them one more season before giving them all away.
