Probably the "best buy" was caught by Carla and Gerald, who bought a mini-shed with an attached pen, for $31.

I was delighted to get a large handmade live trap, of the Pied Piper design that I really like, for $30. I have a manufactured one just like it, that I bought for $84 at the feed store.

cool congrats , some time i hope to be able to make it to the auction down there with you guys , i just know i definately wouldnt be driving back home that night lol and i know with coming there i would be pulling my horse trailer

You might get lucky, like Quenston did one time when he came to the Blanchard auction. He bought a horse trailer at the auction and used it to take home all his other purchases. He too, got a motel close by and went home the following morning.

Hey thanks Donnie, the Phs come in several color patterns but my favs are the ones with the bright orange and the warm brown in their tails, that is what I am shooting for in mine!!!

Carla - thank you for the link to the 2 quart feed pans on the American Livestock site. I spent more than 30 minutes this afternoon searching for those things. I must have looked at 150 pictures of the things that came up when I typed in "water bowl" and "feed bowl." I will have to remember that they are "pans" I like them because frozen water can be easily removed from them without breaking anything - including my booted foot when I mash them on the ground.

You and Gerald could charge admission for the opportunity to listen to your banter. It was good that I didn't want to buy any birds, because I was having a great time listening to you two. Are you sure you weren't siblings in another life?

It is a special military thing we share, some folks such as yourself get it, some don't. But it is like a brotherhood and Gerald & I share that so we just cut up and whoever is listening better beware

Must have been bidding on something when the surgery joke came along, but I can just imagine that Gerald probably offered to take care of things with his pocket knife.
