I'm still alive, barely. Sorry I didn't make the auction. I really wanted to, but I got hit with a nasty virus. My bf came home sick Friday, and it hit me Saturday. I didn't figure y'all'd appreciate me infecting everyone so I stayed home. Found out yesterday that it is not the flu, but it is highly contagious.

I'll have to figure another date to go, & if I can't get that worked out, there is always POOPS.

I got really excited when it started raining yesterday evening, but my joy was short lived as it only sprinkled for about 10 minutes and didn't even cover the ground.

As I groomed my Great Pyraneese yesterday afternoon and her undercoat seemed to be "blowing out" and coming off of her by the handfuls, I thought about the spoons in the persimmons. I hope we get some moisture and that her loss of her undercoat of fur is due to confusion with these warm temperatures. She can stay warm in the chicken house, even if we get really cold weather.

Robin - please take care of yourself and follow doctor's instructions on your medications. Diabetes isn't anything to mess with and you don't want to risk damage to your eyesight or your fingers - particularly since you are such a gifted artist.

Frizzle x Frizzle makes a Frazzle, which are poor critters with very fragile feathers as they carry two copies of the frizzle gene.

Frizzle x Smooth gives you 50% frizzle & 50% smooth, I think.

We used to have a big problem with people following our Fire Trucks when they were on a run until we set up a run to a pasture one time. All of the cars that followed us into the pasture (and there were several) found not a fire but sever waiting OHP and Sheriff units waiting to cite them for following emergency vehicles. That ended the following for a long time.

marybeth , the last time i went over an visited with him , he had lady am , silver , red goldens, yellow goldens , some other one , heck i cant even count , he is a liscensed gamebird breeder , he has several several varieties of pheasants , along with peafowl , chukar , and bob white quail ill go by there friday and see what all he has now , and see if anything is for sale and if so ill post it for you
