Oh, I'm so sorry to hear it, I would hate to be held hostage in the house w/ American Idol, but at least it's not The Bachleor!

We've had bits of icy pellets on and off all day and it's super cold/windy. The really bad stuff is supposed to hit around midnight last I heard. I did get 2 ricks of wood and half a pallet of wood pellets down to the basement today.


We've separated out all our breeders how we wanted them with everyone deloused and all withdrawals done, whether they needed it or not. Put the roos in the proper pens yesterday and marked all the girl's vents with food coloring today. One of the Silkie gals decided to go broody this AM. Evening now and all we've gotten today are colorful poos. Not one single egg.

I have an extra wifi router, it will not work with my modem.

A couple of my brahmas have startd laying the past few days, getting two a day anyhow, don't know from how many hens. Some are in the new bater on test run, wish me luck.
