Our daughter call this morning from KC and said she had 8 inches on the hood of her truck.
Put it in 4wheel drive and she was off to work,her new boss just transferred from phoenix
And wanted to know what all the pretty white stuff was

I'm good, Drama, The same as I always have had, Cochins, polish, mixed, and Sultans. School is doing so much better. But, I forgot to get my cap and gown for graduation... I can't believe I keep forgetting about graduation...

It really is slow to melt out here in Choctaw today. I keep taking LOOOOOONG breaks from working on grading papers to go "check" on my chickens.

Charley's hatch included WLR & White standard Cornish, I am due to hatch the same combo from his egg's in about a week, they are stewing now. We are working hard in a collabrative effort to raise more birds on both ends for us. He's great Cornish Buddy.

My avatar isn't really new, the chick was one of two Barred rocks that I bought at the last Poops I attended. I was letting one of my hens care for them since the eggs she was trying to hatch weren't going to, but another one of my hens killed them... I've never seen a hen go into such a depression before...

Jack has a flock of blue Ameraucanas with an amazing rooster. It is nice to live across the street from him. On the rare occasion I wish for more breeds than my Cochins I can go over and visit all his standard breeds. Plus I get to help with their chicks.
