Howdy, Well I've been talkin to the KOA folks today so I will try and share what I know and answer folks questions. If possible, I would rather discuss it here so I can let everyone know at once.
I do appreciate the pm's because I didn't think about a lot of the stuff some folks have mentioned.
So here is some updated info.
Clubhouse. We have nine camping spots so it will cost us $25, which has been paid.
If anyone else rents a spot, let me know ASAP.
There is a large coffee pot in the clubhouse. They are also providing two bags of ice.

Na Na had asked me about cleaning stuff. We will need to sweep and wipe stuff down but nothing major. I think she is bringing some cleaning stuff.

Weather: Things have changed since last night. No rain in the forecast for Saturday but bringing something to cover your birds wouldn't hurt. As for chicks, I don't know if we will be able to keep them in the building or not so plan to have a spot for them.
Al said with all of the gypsy dancing girls there won't be room in his cabin for any more chicks.

This is for Al

He has gone above and beyond in getting all of the equipment
and meat ready. Give him a hug and/or pat on the back.
Thanks to Tina for tracking everything and to everyone else who is bringing stuff and making this thing work out.

I find it amazing that the guy bringing most of the wood is from a place where there isn't any and he is coming the farthest. plus wood has spiders on it.

I am taking enough wood over to get Al started.

1. I don't think we will have access to the building on Sunday morn for a service but we will see.

2. Currently, Oklahoma County is under a burn ban. That means no campfires.

It could change and if it does, i will let you know.
3. Some of you have expressed concerns about auctions. There are two in the area on that Saturday. Jones is 12 miles away and starts bidding at 5 pm.
Blanchard is about 45 miles. It starts at 3 pm.
I know that some of the folks coming may not have access to regular auctions, so if you want to go to one that is fine, but remember, the more time at an auction means less time at POOPS.
On the bright side, the more folks that go to auctions means the more food left for me. So I am kinda torn here.

OK please express your thoughts and pose any questions or concerns you may have.
