Little Roy and Dakota both knew so much about the pigeons - I was amazed - they kept pulling out birds and telling me what kind they were and why they were called that. It was really interesting. I was more impressed and amazed by the boys' and their knowledge than by the birds, which were super pretty - I'd never seen some of those colors!

Durant! They had speckled sussex (pullets), black jersy giants, partridge rocks (they were gorgeous), silver phoenix, Cornish, cochins galore and a few more breeds, but I can't remember them all.

What are the EOIs?

Tests you have to take at the end of each course, End of Instruction.

Our church youth group is going to Dallas for a Texas Ranger game. I am praying they cancel it because I don't want to be the bad guy and make them stay home. But could you imagine, that is probably going to be a breeding ground for the swine flu.

Well a little dissapointed today, my first dozen Welsummer eggs that I bought online only hatched one chick, contacted the person and they were very noncarring about it, did not offer to send replacements or anything, I will not buy from them again, I had some eggs I sent to California that did not hatch good, so I offered replacements for free with the cost of shipping and my customer was ecstatic with that, live and learn, anyone got Welsummer eggs for sale that are nice and dark???? I'll check & see what I have when I get off work tonight. I took all I had & sold them Saturday, so these are from Sunday on. Mine were really dark earlier on, but getting lighter thru the season. Fertility is great .... 2 roos to 6 hens. Poor hens are looking a bit ragged now.

At the next Jones auction I would be happy to pick some up for you if there is any. The ones we got reminded me of the Cadbury eggs.
Which reminds me of something else, watch this full screen.

Oh my goodness you all are a talkative little group aren't ya!

I am a lurker since I am not an official Okie although Luvs2garden is seriously trying to get me to move there. Just love following all of the POOPS events and posts.
