That seams like a good price!

That is an excellent price - but Buffalo is a ways away from OKC. On the other hand, I have been in contact by email with the seller of pheasant chicks in North Dallas regarding his golden red pheasant and yellow pheasant and Lady Amherst chicks and he wants $8 for day olds and $10 for 1-2 week old chicks.

I got my red golden pheasent eggs that were the source of my trio at the Prague auction in June 2006. Maybe I just need to be patient and go to Prague in June. My pheasants just started laying eggs a few weeks ago, so hopefully everyone who raises them will be selling chicks in June or July.

Ronnie, she will still roll her eyes at you - but maybe she will be smiling when she does

I have a bad feeling about the chicks I ordered two months ago...
I fear that I won't be able to get them. I talked to my grandma this afternoon she said she'd pay for them... but I'm worried she's going to forget (It tends to run in our family, I don;t know if it's in her or not.) Sadly the only thing I can do now is sit not-so-patiently and wait.

My first thought on that pretty cochin several pages back was "Its a creole cochin" Whats the difference between creole and golden?

We got rain here till around 1pm then it was pretty nice, the sun even tried to come out. Now the wind has come up and I am afraid we will get another storm soon.

I don't know on the difference in a golden and a creole.....What ever it is I would like to have some of them.

we have both bantam and standard Naked Necks hatching now. Of course I didn't mark the eggs so I didn't know when they were supposed to hatch. I thought I put them in the same time as the POOPS egss but I guess it was earlier.

I will get some pics tomorrow and I swear these are some of the largest chicks that I have ever seen. You would swear they are already at least a week old.

I hope we have some that can go to Shawnee this year.

The wind is kicking up here right now something fierce, better grab a flashlight and head down to the coop's to check on things. Seems like so much going on down there lately with chicks and new birds and construction, whew!!!.
