Good news for me.
I got a big thimbs upfrom my heart doc on all of my ticker testing.
(they did find one)
Seems everything is within the borders and nothing out of sorts.
(so I am not sure why I had to go four times for all those tests)
He did tell me I was overweight though. Like that is gonna make any breaking news headlines. Anyway i know I do need to shed some pounds.
I told him I liked my regular doctor much more than him. He asked me what his name was and I said Dr. Pepper.
Then he said something that did get my attention.
For every Dr. Pepper I drink I would have to run a mile and a half to burn off the calories.
So now I have to decide which I hate the most, running or missing my morning DP.
I am gonna taper off slowly. Only one a day for awhile and then maybe I can quit.

Everyone keep an eye to the skies this evening and tonight.
Up here in NE OK we have a "Weather Call" deal through
Channel 8. Hope all of you have access to this kind of
service. In the middle of the night, when the land-line and
both cell phones go off at the same time..... Yup, you're awake !!!
Up here it's only like $6.95 for a full year.

And, don't remember how many of you have kids showing
birds in 4-H, but there is a 4-H Poultry Show June 27th at
Okemah. It's open to all 4-H members and sponsored by
Creek Nation. There's no entry fee. Don't know for sure yet
about the entry times. And, it's an "out of your box" show,
or what we call a "table" show, where the kids actually take
their birds out of their cages and show them on a table.....
like what our kids do here in Cherokee County. Especially
for the kids, we kinda like it. The kids are actually involved,
"hands on" with their birds, and you can see on their faces,
those ribbons mean the world. But, they did say that this
is a "money" show.

Would be a 100 mile jaunt for us, and we would have just
been to OKC for the NPIP class, but messed around and told
Pa-Pa about it - wonder if he'll tell the kids???? Oh well,
Tenkiller is out of its banks, so I can't go to the darned lake
anyway.
