I think it is officially listed as the SE OKC KOA. If you put in the zip code of 73135 at the KOA website, it will pull it up.

The Checotah/Lake Eufaula KOA is about 80 miles East of the one you are looking for.

I will certainly try to make as much noise as I can for the late sleepers on Saturday, I will be up stumbling around in the dark trying to get the smokers and such fired up going by 4:00 am. That should be fun LOL will need strong coffee.

Hi Don, We went back West before we got up into your area but I do plan to make a trip over there some time.
I have a couple of freezers waiting for me to load them. Also my dad has an old gas (Yes Gas) refrigerator. Could that be used in any way. It doesn't work but it is one of the cool old models with the rounded tops. Definatly an antique.
We can talk it over at POOPS and maybe Teach can make a trip over as well.

Hey my way of thinking is anything is possible when it comes to making a bator

I just like making them

maybe we could rig up something for your living room, How tall and wide is it? maybe we could paint it a bright color like red and yellow and make a lamp with a shade coming out the top with a bator on the inside and a CD player on the bottom. If we make functional Then your family will welcome it in the living room.

It could happen

Thanks Don, I think I got the message.

I don't know about a lamp but I am sure we can figure some amenities for it.
A computer screen or tv would have my families' attention.

So Have do you figure if you made an incubator out of a microwave, could you hatch eggs faster?
idunno.gif

It would be cool to hatch out eggs in about an hour instead of three weeks.
Think of the hatching egg shortage this would cause.
I think you and Al should get on that.
I'll be waiting.

Silly Buckguy...microwave incubator hatching eggs in an hour! Didn't you watch gremlins or whatever that movie was with the cat in the microwave? Doesn't really happen that way

Not that I would know

Really I don't

I ma glad I read the posts this morning... would have made reservations at wrong campground. (Okies are you purposely leading me astray?). I'm glad I didn't call yesterday... I would have been talking POOPS and they would have been hanging up!!

OK... I am seriously ready for the wind to be gone... I have a little rake and dustpan I use to scoop chicken poop... and that is a diffficult task in a 40 mph wind... you guys out east be careful today... supposed to get rowdy weather over there.

Signed
The "Infamous" HennyPennies!

P.S. Caught 2 more mice in the trap last night. Now we have something for dinner!

Henny - I don't know about you. If they did cuff you you would probably like it

You aren't kidding about the wind! I about got blown off the road a couple times this morning. It is howling around the building and making the worstest racket! They told us to hang on to something and make sure that something was tied to something else!

Yup, sounds like it could get a little rough over this way.
The wind is already blowing stuff around. So, we're doing
our normal "batten down the hatches"....gasoline for the
generator, extension cords gathered up to reach the
incubators and brooders, draw water, etc. Out here in
"toolieville" north of Tahlequah, we lose power if a fat
bird lands on a line......................

Henny - You are bringing the guitar, right? We're throwing
in a pile of firewood for the campfire......

Have a good one !
