I'm here tonight guys, but not really here...I'm fighting either some nasty allergies or a major cold...stuffy/runny nose (it can't make up it's mind), coughing, SNEEZING, headache, you name it, I got it...and I've got the Nyquil in me already.

Chilly, duckling #2, hatched tonight and seems no worse for having been in the refrigerator for nearly a week before going in the incubator. It's only day 26, so the other three have a couple of more days to go.

Question...how long can I leave them in the bator. Ducky #1 was hatched last night, so he's been in there for 24 hours. I know they can hang out a couple of days, but when do I absolutely need to get them out and in a brooder. Poor thing has stood up a few times and bumped it's head on the heating element in the LG and threw him for a loop....I feel so bad for him. They are "fluffing" up as nicely as others do...I think they must have been a little sticky.....

I was out moving my roo's, hubby thought it would be a better to move them at night. yeah that didn't work out so well. Tomorrow I can move my babies to the pen, they have out grown the cage they are in!

He thought perhaps sense it was in public the wenches had to "behave" themselfs more than they would like. Got some chicken fixing to come out of the oven and french fries and gravy for dinner. I would love to see your custom sometime, I dont think my wife can decide what outfit she wants to buy for next year, of course she just may not care. I too love the jousting and the hawking show at the fair. Heres a pic of my oldest with a hawk from last year.

bigokie - get better! Hope it runs its course fast like mine did. I slept mine into submission. well i wrote my paper...hopefully it will get me 12 or 13 of the 25 it can bring! Did I mention I hate writing

lol i hope so i had to sleep settin up last night everytime i layed down i would go to coughing.i was all day feeding all my chickens an stuff .i had dizzy spells feelin alittle better tonite i sweated of some of it today

Had the worst luck today,a silkie pullet on her firts setting hatched one out early so she came off the nest and let the rest chill! Wish I had kept the older birds,they were just more settled and didn't act so crazy!Finally had a warm day here. Puppys have their eyes open.They are more brown than the b lack I was expecting. Especially dapple. I have got to figure out how to pics! Sounds like the meeting is really getting big!Sure wish I wasn't so far away.

i found abunch of the golden laced hens he has about 40 but wouldnt come down on the price so i could get them.my buddy john has the Lt brahamas they are the standard.not sure what hes wanting on them.will probally bring them to poopswe are bring what ever is left after this weekend at the flea marketwe got silkes oegb muscovy ducks baby geese rir bantams an cochins we got a good mix
