And, as far as a "showing poultry seminar"....all you'd get from

Would anyone be interested in White Cochin Bantam pairs.
These birds came from Fred McGehee and have placed here
locally, at Shawnee, and at Pryor. No major awards, but they
are nice birds.........just "WHITE'.............. Pa-Pa said he'd
take $25 a pair.....He paid $50 for Pretty Boy/Puff........Pet/Patti
are really nice birds as well.

And, BTW, Pa-Pa did step up to the plate and offered to
"guard" the tables from noonish until about 5:00.....
Big of him don't ya think???????????????

I will talk to Shaun but put me down for 1 pair. I am a sucker for big fluffy butts! The white pair we got at Pryor is a nightmare right now! I am so glad we won't show again until August..........unless there is a show that is close. And I am SURE that you are the resident chicken dryer

My stupid Pekin hen is cracking me up. She finally decided to go broody on a huge number of eggs. Not sure if any will hatch given that she has been moving her nest every day...She is still in the big dog cage that is in the coop, with the door open, but she moves the entire nest, pine shaving pile and all and then sits on the nest, hunched over, hissing at anyone who comes near. I think it's just cool that she is actually broody, when a number of people have told me that Pekin ducks don't go broody.

P.S. If anyone thought my signature line was too long, you could have just pm'd me and asked me to shorten it....really.

am sititng here trying to catch up with a 3 week old chick sound asleep in my lap...LOL! her shoulder is looking alot better, i'll post pics soon... i suspect little Pipi will be one spoiled rotten hen!
