Fence building is hard work! We got it completely up so tomorrow we hang the gate and start on the little house. My daughter walked her goat for the first time today. I think the goat walked her but didn't tell her that. LOL. It was cute.

My hands are sore, bet I feel my arms again sometime tomorrow.

I need sand sand and more sand......
Funny how I have NONE here in Jones and you have it all their.. It must have washed down their....

I figured with the river running right by there that there would be a lot of sandy soil around your parts.

Where did she get the eggs? They can't do this repeatedly.
They have to have some recovery time, or you'll lose them.
Over here, when they "think" they want to go broody....they
get put in a small pen for 5 days, and are forced to forget
it... until they are back in good enough shape to go without food/water for the setting trip.

Nope, not an expert by any means, just would hate for
anyone to loose a good "broody" hen.

Have a good one !

If you talking to me it depends on what river, some have sand some have rocks. I will have no problems now that the garden is back where it should of stayed in the first place. LOL.

I'm sorry Monty!! I am really here this time. Hubby got home so we went to work on the goat pen. This rain has everything behind. They are in a muddy pen right now that will soon be more chicken pens!

Henny, I don't but I am sure that Don, Al, Ronnie and some others here can probably help out.
You don't have to have a hatcher do you?
