I only live about 30 minutes from there, and I am pretty sure we go through it during our many trips to Duncan

I was just wondering my BIL lives there, and owns several business and a resturant that you may have been to. Rick's on HWY 70 & the Country Cafe also on 70.

AL

I do know both restaurant names... but I am not sure if I've eaten there... If he runs a restaurant half as good as you cook, they are must-try for me

Henny - I ain't about to quit! Love it to much plus don't think I could survive another catch a clue meeting with the big guy upstairs! The last one was kind rough!

The dryer goes then stops and starts beeping. Wife did a bunch of loads in a row and I don't know. Tried isolation and clean food and water and rest but well it just isn't responding!

Hum next time I need to come here when I have trouble!

On the plus side I don't have to buy a canner, my MIL has one. It belonged to her mother so I am going to check it out.

I have two silkie babies so far!!

Well I lost a broody buff Orpington today. Dead on the nest and all the eggs ice cold. She was a young hen. It might have been mites or just the stress of the job.
I found a few mites on her but not a lot so I don't know. She was pretty light for a big hen so maybe she didn't know she was supposed to leave the nest to eat.
Food and water was only two feet away.

Buckguy sorry to hear that, maybe dehydration? I aint had alot of experience with broody hens unless you count getting flogged so im no help. My cochin hen wouldnt come off teh nest, i took her food and water every day she would barely sit up and eat and drink then sit back down and go to doing her duty.
