Okies in the BYC The Original

A terrible thing happened today. It turns out that the formerly prego cat who had babies somewhere unknown a couple of days before POOPS has a master plan to undermine my "no more cats" policy. I left my garage side door open just a crack during all the most recent storms, and today I opening the garage to the sound and sight of four tiny "eyes-just-opened-too-cute-to-be-real" kittens. Two gray tabbies (one with white paws), one yellow tabby and one black calico. I am afraid to look directly at them - they are so cute I might go blind. And now that she's officially moved them onto my property, I can't do anything but take care of them until they're weaned. If Little Momma (she's a kitten herself) doesn't move them again now that I've found them, I'll sex them, post photos and wait for the offers to pour in. Everyone needs a kitten (everyone, that is, but me).

Welcome to the new-to-the-thread Okies!!

Don - congratulations on the "new" truck - personally, I like my vehicles to have had the kinks worked out of them by someone else (since a vehicle loses thousands in value the moment someone takes possession and turns it from a brand new vehicle into a previously owned vehicle)

Good morning Don & Maribeth and everyOkie. It's a beautiful day and the weather people promise it will be a dry one!

P&B I sprinkled some DE into the pine shavings in the hen house this morning and raked it in - I think of you everytime I get into that huge bag!

Morning!

Dryer still broke.

Yes...lots and lots of Dew! It is like crack!

I have a couple boys that can pick-up every tick in a 5 mile radius...I could lend them out if you need some removed.

City - I got dibs on the calico!!!! I only have 5 kittens currently and that just ain't enough!

Don - I hear you! I likes my old Dodge! I was silly and got it new but that was when I had a real job where I didn't spend half the paycheck buying stuff from kids and pencils and erasers!

I ordered more eggs

Well it's an old Dakota 3.9, I had been without a Pickup for a few months, and I hated it..I couldn't do anything with my birds without asking some of my friends to help with their truck..
This one won't win any contest for looks.. But it was cheap, and it's a truck

Hey Stimp I think I am getting out of the duck Business too.. I can't hardly give the eggs away
and their swimming hole is starting to smell when you are up wind. The Pekins are great layers
we get an egg from each one everyday..and they add up quick..
