Beggs is not too far from where I was born and raised. I have been around there a lot. As for the barrels I was given several and I have hauled about a third of them. I am debating whether to get the rest or not.
I also got some of the pens you are talking about.

Good night Monty
I have finished the brooder tour for the 11 yr old grandson's baseball team, so I am going to get some sleep. Today was the last day of school and they are playing in a tournament tomorrow and Saturday morning in Chickasha - they are all wound tighter than a 12 day clock.

50 won't take much more time to take care of than 25 would have taken - and you are going to quickly find out how many friends you have who are dying to help you find homes for all of them.

Good morning all. Waiting to go get Lynn.
Stimpy set the eggs in the brower for now.

Waiting to see what kind of trouble I can get into today after we get Lynn home. I am sure he has had all the resting he can stand.

So far have 19 BA's hatched out.........have 60 chicks so far, the others were my BYS and Musesky"s eggs. 98% hatch so far on my BYS, 50% on Muesky's eggs and almost 50% on Okiehens and a couple more days to go. Bantam cochin eggs should be hatching tomorrow thru monday.

Good morning, Okies
Looks like another beautiful day in Oklahoma.
One of the broody hens, that had the turkey and guinea eggs under her, is hatching them one by one and then staying with the nest. We found a chocolate turkey poult wandering around outside of the hen house last night. I guess he left the nest after he hatched and couldn't figure out what to do. I put him in the brooder and checked to see if anymore poults or keets had hatched. She has now hatched 3 poults and 2 keets and it looks like there are also chicken eggs beneath her (that I didn't put there) so I guess I will see how long she keeps setting and what hatches. Interestingly, this is a nest where the hen has started out in a different nest and then abandoned "her" eggs to go to the current location. I moved the turkey and guinea eggs to her new location and she periodically goes back to the original location, then I put her back on the nest with the turkey and guinea eggs and she stays there for a few days, then goes to the other nest. As many times as she has stayed off this nest for hours at a time while she was in the original location, I feel fortunate that anything hatched. The two hens on either side of this nest have stayed put. They should start hatching next week.

sounds like you have a full day ahead of you.
Glad Lynn is doing better - I have to admit that I didn't fully appreciate how dangerous a snake bite could be until his recent experience.

Who will I see at the Blanchard auction tomorrow night?

I see by the ad on craigslist that they have 80 rabbits and rabbit equipment already cosigned, so it may not be a good auction for me to take any rabbits, but I do plan to take some hens and a some roosters. I am going to go through the hen houses tonight and just keep the ones that are setting on nests, the ones that seem to be laying the largest eggs and when I get to about 20 to keep, the rest are going to the auction. I want to focus on the Narragansett turkeys and guineas instead of having so many hens.

Stray - I will still have two hens to bring to the NPIP certification on June 12 for your mother to practice on.
