Glad the kids are done Steph. I knew you were busy so I didnt call ya. Will try to call today or tomorrow.

I want to go to Blanchard tomorrow just have to wait and see. I need to get some eggs for the incubator. Stimpy's eggs will be lonely if I dont. I have decided WE DO NEED keets. So gonna try to hook up with Carla to get some, if anyone else has any that would be great also.

Nah... nothing much.... mowing...

.....That would be cool... I would have come and hollerd as ya went by! I thought of you... one of my Mom's nurses just enlisted. The recruiter told her she would have her pick after basic training from between 3 stateside and 2 overseas locations. I was rolling after she left...they sold her good....they told her they would give her a house on base and all she would have to pay is her cell bill.... They made it look like a vacation with cash.....

That's just wrong! WHat are you up to? I would make ya dinner one night while you are baching it if ya wanna come out.....

Beth... Thanks for asking... I'm doing much better thank you... lots of bruises! That first day was fun, but after that the pain dissipated pretty quickly... Now I have added all these teeny little bruises on my forearms from candling the BO's eggs. She was after me!! She didn't like me messing with her eggies! She is due the 26th so I have to go out today and make her a big hatching box.....switch her over after dark....dang she has a cast iron beak and she knows how to use it!

Morning All
Cloudy with a 20% chance of isolated showers here today. Suns trying to peek thru tho. Had a belgian quail hatch last night. She has four golden laced cochins! and several bq's! Glad to see the cochins. I have three or four already hatched,sure want to increase my flock of those.
My baby ducks are growing so fast! They look like goslings! I lucked out and bought some cage bird pens for $5 each last year they are 15x 30 and have dropping pans under wire floors. They are great for the ducks. They can noodle their water and stay dry and clean.
Luvs so glad to here Lynn is doing better and comming home,he may not be doing better when he gets the bill tho!Lol. At least he didn't loose any body parts.

They sure did blow some smoke at her it sounds like, it sounds like they haven't changed their tactics LOL. I am up to my ears in work at the house I have taken on some must do's this weekend and it looks long come to think of it. Have you made a decision yet on your coop painting???.

Mike still has to put the roof on first.... I'm going to screw around with my paint sprayer and see if I can get it to work... it needs a new filter and stuff. They told me the tip should last forever (?) It needs to dry out a bit on the bottom....It would help if hens quit digging in there, the dorks... it's cool so they love it in there... I keep raking everything to the middle and they keep sending it alll back up against the walls.,... Not conducive to drying out 2X4s!

These little Blue and splash BO's are very pretty, nice and light silvery, and big. Hatched finished last night, official number is 2 out of 15. Now the bator is empty.
