Teach: I got the eggs from P&B. Thanks for bringing them.
I hope to get them in the bator tonight or tomorrow. I have quail hatching now and chickens due to hatch for the next three weeks.
Need more roosters?"

Cuban, Did you make it home without the barrels blowing out?

Thanks everyone for the welcome back and kind words.
Its good to be home but I miss the ultra cold cabin we stayed in.I never get cold but I was cold more than not when I was in our cabin.
I don't keep our house a frosty 52 degrees, which is what it was when I woke up one morning. After that I made sure I checked the thermostat when I went to bed and when I got up at 4:00 a.m. to make my nighly bathroom inspection.
Ok Henny Clampett, are you gonna whip up a mean possum pot pie or what? I am sure Mike would love it.
Sounds like everyone had a blast at the NPIP meet up. Wish I could have seen everyone.
Thanks again Marybeth for being a clearing house for me.

Possum is my black lab's favorite midnight snack. Raccoon is her second favorite. Seems she is tearing out the back door after something about every other night.

Hennypennies, your graphic photos look downright tame compared to what they look like after she gets through with them.

Ke_ben - I'm assuming you know that we're talking about the
trio of Cornish Bantams that we got from Teach at POOPS....LOL

We, actually, weren't sure if TJ hadn't caught a baby chipmunk and
sneaked it into the incubator !!! They (the dark cornish chicks)
are marked exactly like a chipmunk. They are adorable !!!!!
And, another one has hatched since my earlier post.

And, yes, I feed my little band of chipmunks that live under the
porch, too........LOL

I don't know where this bunch gets it..............

Have a good one !

Our group at Falls Creek has a theme each day.
Wednesday was Chicken Little Day so since I didn't have any chicken little stuff I wore my POOPS shirt and my chicken hat.
Needless to say every kid wanted to know about POOPS.

If your rooster wasn't rosecomb, then they came out of the rosecomb light brown leghorn I had in with them.
big_smile.png
They'd be pure leghorn, comb & color crosses.

Hey Carla,
Could you let me know when they have the open house. Uli is a big airplane buff and would really enjoy going.
Thanks

They had to come from the roo you had them with.
I had them with Gold Campines here.
