I do know they have been getting and hatching a bunch but not sure exactly what they have or are selling, I know that some will be raised as show prospects for TJ.

Morning all.

Rebecca, Right now I only have 1 white chick that hatched a few days ago. Gold laced probably not, partridge maybe. The partridge are in the 5 week old pen. I have red, black, barred, blue and partridge in there. As soon as Lynn builds another condo for them I will decide which ones I want to keep and then sell the rest. When I get there I will give you a holler.

The chicks I just hatched out are all black or blue with 1 lone white.
Question, with a white on white cochin what are the possibility of colors they would hatch out.

Going to the hospital in a little bit to go see the baby. She is off the IV now she still has the feeding tube, hoping to get that taken out today or tomorrow. They are still saying Tuesday she will go home, she just has to click on eating.

That is great news Tina! Hopefully she will get the eating down!!

Hope everyone has a great day. I will be heading back home tonight after a great weekend. We played in the pool, had a cookout and all around fun yesterday. I even got alittle school clothes shopping in too. The kids will stay here for a week!!

Up to get ready to go sing for Mike as he teaches Sunday School. His study this week is amazing. It is unreal the way he has changed since starting this up.

Hens are done!! Yaya! I love getting them done early and watching them forage around. Nice weather to work in this morning.... Hope it stays awhile!

Wow. Bummer. All that way for nothing. At least you didn't get cited like that lady. Maybe she was a repeat offender.

So... pardon the stupid question, but is this a requirement in every state (I'm thinking mostly Oklahoma, though) to sell birds at swaps and auctions? Or was it just because you were from out of state?

ETA...
I'm not looking to getting into selling on a regular basis so much as finding an outlet for unwanted birds. I'm considering taking these three leghorn cockerels (too small for meat) and some of my RIR pullets to one of the auctions, as I don't need that many laying hens. Don't want to go to a whole lot of trouble just to do that.

LOL I know that's when I know that I was getting used to the heat, sad I know hehe. But it was just really pleasant because while working I wasn't drenching my head under the pasture tap every 15 min LOL.

Are we still on for your processing day on Monday??.
