Hello everybody!
Hope everyone is staying cool and having a great day. Just be careful out there especially those of you who live in town. I have found that there is as much as a 10 degree hotter in town compared to where I live, all that black top and pavement.

So who is going to Blanchard Saturday?? Need to good auction mojo. Looking for polish crested and mottled houdans. Of and white cochins.

Uli has accused me of being a chicken addict. That maybe because I bought a dancing chicken that when grab it by the neck it makes choking sounds.

I'll bring it to POOPS it is so cute.

Well I better go get eggs for breakfast tomorrow.

Hey, I just turned on my computer & see this. Yep. If the garden is still going, we'll have lots of veggies. I'm not sure how long they produce, but right now we have lots of veggies ... cucumbers, zucchini, several types of peppers, canteloupe, watermelon, and the tomatoes are big & green but haven't turned red yet. Surely there will at least be tomatoes, but a lot of the other stuff may be slowing down quite a bit by the end of September. Gerald spends at least an hour a day in the garden now, and gets several feed bags full of veggies each day. He'll be taking lots of veggies to the Blanchard auction on Saturday night.

Hi all!

All this talk of starting school again makes me sad! My youngest graduated this year. I really didn't think it would be that hard, but I miss getting her ready for the new school year, sports, ect. Now she all grown up and on her own. I'm proud of her, just miss the little girl she was. Enjoy this time, it goes by so fast.

OKCarla - Not Fair !!!!!! I need peppers and tomatoes, but
"some of the folks I live with" think we have to start packing
back up for the Tulsa State Fair as soon as we get home from
POOPS. That'll teach 'em.....No Pepper Relish and No Fresh
Picante Sauce this winter !!!!!!! On second thought.......
bring 'em on..........I may get left home !!!!!!!!!!!

Are any of you entering the Tulsa State Fair? Am still watching
the debate between Tulsa City/Tulsa County as far as "who"
is responsible for security up there this year. Tulsa City annexed
the Fair Grounds for the taxes, but now doesn't want to provide
the security for the fair.......... DUH !!!!!!!!!

Finally got our reservations made today for POOPS.....Let's keep
building on our list !!!!

Cuban Longtails... What kind of hen is that on your avatar? Is that the normal stance,does the tail ever get held erect/ She is a very pretty color.The body shape almost looks like its a cross with a pheasant!
