From what little I know about it, yes you do. if you call the State ag people they will send a certified tester out to test your birds. they test for a couple of different things and test all your birds. there are quite a few who are certified in our group, we all met up in OKC a few months ago and they got certified. I however did not participate in the class.

Life today in OK was hot, the Watermelon festival was nice going to for the first time in Rush Springs

I came home with friends from church, we visited for a while, they went home and another friend (who lives down a few miles from me) and I fried okra, green tomatoes and pickles... yep it was a fry day or wait today is saturday.. ha ha

Friend went home and I chilled with my peeps, re arranged the hutches into the living with new peeps on the top floor and 2 week old turkeys on the second floor... Duckling and goslings are in their own tub.

Right now I am chilling in front of the computer screen missing my kids and hubster dearly(they in CALI) and rocking out to K Love Christian Radio online

Hi everyone as you know the fall P.O.O.P.S will be Sept. 26th. It has been decided that we would have a Pot luck lunch & dinner! We are looking for foods that are just as good cold as they are hot.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in. We will also have limited space to keep things cool between lunch and dinner, so if you bring something that needs to be kept cool make arrangements for that. For some folks that travel you could possibly have your ingredients made and put them together on site. Keep in mind the number of people that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

We will also need paper goods, silverware & drinks. I have a couple of large igloo coolers that can be used for tea & kool-aid. If you have an one we could use let me know. I will need volunteers for set up before each meal along with volunteers for clean up after.

Please contact (PM) myself or TJ’s Nana if you have any questions or if you need a suggestion as to what you can bring. I will keep a running list of items.

I got tickled today at the auction,There was a coop of very nice "Colombian Rocks" but they had them labeled as white rocks!

You would think if you were going to raise birds you would at least get a catalog and figure out what kind you have! Are you auction people like ours,not a clue what anything is,breed wise or sex either. I can't believe you would want to go thru the trouble of doing an auction and not know a little something about what you are dealing with.

hi all, been too hot to do much, i bought a small mister that you hook to the regular hose, worked great until hubby tossed a board with nails on the hose, hey- who needs a mister when you have a hose with holes in it...he had good aim, nail went straight through~

meawhile, here is a link to my little blue silkie- she is standing more, but wondered if anyone has any suggestions on helping her? she is on vitamins, asprin at nite, she walks some, but not far, and her left knee is bigger than the right, maybe she wrenched it?

i was feeling her 'knees' and trying to compare, got to wondering if she had injured that left leg and it healed wrong, it is larger than the right knee, but doesn't feel soft

Robin was the leg hurt when you got it? I don't know that there is anything you can do other than splint it but it could do more harm than good considering it is getting around an able to stand.

Hope everyone has had a good evening. I am so tired I am not sure I know my name. I have been gone for 8 hrs of shopping with a break for lunch. Good new is that it is done! I really am not a shopper so I am good till Christmas!
