Hello Okies. Man, I'm gone for a few days and you guys get in trouble and get sent to the principal's office!

Looks like everybody is doing pretty well. Good looking logo Sooner, who's going to pick up my shirt?

While you are in the pen doing chores catch him and carry him around with you the whole time if possible. Someone here on BYC even suggested to yank on his wattles, to the point of him getting vocal, while you carry him for additional humiliation. Just make sure the hens and he see who's in charge.

4:10 pm---
Well I was just out doing the feeding and watering chores. Looks like I may have to take some chicks from a hen. She is a goldenneck d'occle,and has 10-12, I noticed the chicks were all standing outside the coop,then I noticed whenever one happened to run thru thr coop she would peck it. Closer look and they all have pecked wings. Don't know why she is doing this. She killed two chicks the first few days and I didn't really think anything about it. I guess she is just not a good mother. She broods them at night alright. I'll take them from her tonight and put them in a brooder. Got My Shirt Ordered! Isn't that a great logo!.

Hi everyone as you know the fall P.O.O.P.S will be Sept. 26th. It has been decided that we would have a Pot luck lunch & dinner! We are looking for foods that are just as good cold as they are hot.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in. We will also have limited space to keep things cool between lunch and dinner, so if you bring something that needs to be kept cool make arrangements for that. For some folks that travel you could possibly have your ingredients made and put them together on site. Keep in mind the number of people that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

We will also need paper goods, silverware & drinks. I have a couple of large igloo coolers that can be used for tea & kool-aid. If you have an one we could use let me know. I will need volunteers for set up before each meal along with volunteers for clean up after.

Please contact (PM) myself or TJ’s Nana if you have any questions or if you need a suggestion as to what you can bring. I will keep a running list of items.

Today although a lil warm outside was nice enough to be enjoyed... well at least I can say that for myself... How bout you guys.... the turkeys enjoyed their time outside with the geese and ducks... and the chicks cant wait for their turn outside...

I'm a blonde, and found this one funny

A blonde teenager, wanting to earn some extra money for the summer, decided to hire herself out as a "handy-woman" and started
canvassing a nearby well-to-do neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do.

"Well, I guess I could use somebody to paint my porch," he said, "How much will you charge me?"

Delighted, the girl quickly responded, "How about $50?"


The man agreed and told her that the paint brushes and everything she would need was in the garage. The man's wife, hearing the conversation said to her husband, "Does she realize that our porch goes ALL the way around the house?"


He responded, "That's a bit cynical, isn't it?"

The wife replied, "You're right. I guess I'm starting to believe all those dumb blonde jokes we've been getting by email lately."

Later that day, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.

"You're finished already?" the startled husband asked.


"Yes, the blonde replied, and I even had paint left over, so I gave it two coats."


Impressed, the man reached into his pocket for the $50.00 and handed it to her along with a $10.00 tip.


"And by the way, "the blonde added, "it's not a Porch, it's a Lexus."

Just checking in..... I've got both kids in school and "thought"...
"whew, I'm done"....nope !.... now they come in with a handful
of papers to be filled out and signed, and additional supply
lists "that they didn't remember when they made out the
first one................................

Sooner....LOVE the shirt design ! Will be double checking kid
sizes.....and the Pa-Pa size....LOL

Teach - I'm sure you're busier than a one armed cranberry
picker right now, but we miss you. Please let us know that
you can sneak away for POOPS. I caved and added the
cheesecakes to the list for Al and Monty. What can we fix for
you guys that you "just gotta have" ????? And, did want to
tell you....the little Crele Roo that we got from you last April that
seemed to be dark.....he molted and is coming back in NICE !!!
We're lookin' at him really hard for the big 2-day ABA show
over at Fayetteville, AR, the 7th of November.

Remember everybody - Keep track of our young BYC'ers and
their 4-H , County Shows, and plans for their County Shows if
they'll be after POOPS, and send me a PM. We want to
acknowledge our young folks at POOPS. Like I said earlier.....
one of these days, they'll have to "bring" us to POOPS.....LOL
