I'm bunking with Tina in a cabin.

Last year we jacked with Teach with the spiders and all, this year we may have to set our traps on the girls cabin WOOOOO HOOOO.
Well now what can we think of??? uummm.

AL

Poultry--we got a cabin right behind where Al and the rest were cooking last time. It was a 2 bed cabin. They told me there weren't any of the remodeled ones left but they did seem a little confused as they first told me they were available. He then said let me get my wife. LOL

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! It's Friday! Its Friday!

I will be sending confermation PM's to those of you that ordered T Shirts.

I made reservations as well, I just hope that they don't get to confused at KOA and we get there and there are more reservationd than there are cabins lol I hope everyone has a wonderful day and Al good luck on your fishing and hope you have a great uneventful trip

Mornin all.
WOW very chatty yesterday.
I got most all the young cochins moved yesterday. Had to get the youngest ones moved out of the brooder they were with JG chicks. Them dang JG were pecking everything that moved in there. Same day hatch. So I turned them out to free range, if them little devils make it fine if not fine. I have never seen anything like it. No they were not hungry nor crowded at all.

Oh Al yea best be nice, like sooner said, you will be baby sitting.

I have an aunt that is 1 month younger than me and an uncle that is 3 years younger. My grandmother had a second family.

I do not tolerate a mean rooster at all. I had a buckeye that was mean, he went to auction. I have 5 roosters that free range and I just know that one of them is going to turn on me. If so he will meet Mr Shovel for sure.

well i went out to feed the lil kitty this morning....(hubby has named him Camo) LOL anyways i set the bowl of food down and went to sit on the swing with my coffee as its just a few feet away from the porch. well i looked and didnt see Camo anywhere....then here he/she comes out from under the bushes...spots me and just stops and stares. takes the LONG way around to get to the porch and eats while keeping one eye on me the whole time....making sure i didnt sneak up on him.after he ate he sat and washed a bit them went back under the bushes...
so whats everyone up tp today and hey ITS FRIDAY!!!

Hi everyone as you know the fall P.O.O.P.S will be Sept. 26th. It has been decided that we would have a Pot luck lunch & dinner! We are looking for foods that are just as good cold as they are hot.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in. We will also have limited space to keep things cool between lunch and dinner, so if you bring something that needs to be kept cool make arrangements for that. For some folks that travel you could possibly have your ingredients made and put them together on site. Keep in mind the number of people that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

We will also need paper goods, silverware & drinks. I have a couple of large igloo coolers that can be used for tea & kool-aid. If you have an one we could use let me know. I will need volunteers for set up before each meal along with volunteers for clean up after.

Please contact (PM) myself or TJ’s Nana if you have any questions or if you need a suggestion as to what you can bring. I will keep a running list of items.

Volunteer’s to help set up & clean up (will set times later

I had a rooster who pecked me every time he saw me. He would see me coming and run up and start on my shoes and work his way up to my knees. In my shorts!

I think he may have been going for the bugs on my shoes I picked up while walking through the tall grass at first, but then it just got to be a habit I suppose. It kinda hurt but he only drew blood a few times. Cute little fella. I almost considered keeping him, but he was one of our first experimental batches of chickens raised for meat and that would be a bad precedent to start keeping critters raised for food right off the bat.

He was the first we processed. I snookered Al into doing the deed for me, big coward that I am.

So Jeannie, do you still have those ducklings?
