Goooooooooood MOOOOOOOOOOOOOORNING VIETNAM or in this case OKIES OF THE BYC..

Ok so that Robin Williams movie is in my head for some odd reason, Considering that is NOT the last movie I had watched which happened to be Madea's Family Reunion( I enjoy Tyler Perry Movies)

I take it by the census of most of these posts the Horse napping is still in effect. I think media would be a great outlook on locating him, Radio Stations, your local Co Ops, Feed Stores, Auctions ect ect, Having posters made with pictures and then like I stated earlier Craigs List. I hope you locate him and are able to get to the bottom of what the heck happened and why he was moved and you werent notified.

Here is a corny joke for you all...

Contact NetPosse.com They are very good about getting the word out They send emails to thousands of people with a flyer, totally free and they really work. Also I think the Texas Rangers will help out in the case of stolen horses. Had some friends years ago have a barrel horse stolen and they tracked it down for them and got her back. If you don't mind I will post this on a barrel racing site that I frequent and see if any of them can help. Hope you can locate him and get him back.

Morning all.
About the horse, back when I worked for a bondsman out of Pauls Valley, we were able to use the postal system to track down skippers, that is if they put in a change of address. Can not hurt to check it out. Good luck in finding him, he is a beauty.

Something To Laugh About:

My ducks, who never try to fly, have started laying their eggs in the chiken nest box. This box is about four feet off the ground and has a front lip of about 4 inches. I have absolutely no clue how they got up there. I have never seen them try to fly, not even when they are being chased. They hardly ever even spread their wings period. I put my nest boxes this high to keep the ducks out. They were crushing the eggs in the lower boxes. What now?

Well time marches on. My son started back to school today. They usually start ahead of most of the others around here but this year a little later. Fourth grade here we are!
I Gotta change gears and get in the groove.
Everyone have a great day.

Well I lost a Marans hen yesterday. She was fine at 4:00 and when I got back from church around 7:30 I found her dead under the roost. I guess heart atttack.
Plenty of shade and water so I don't think it was heat but it could have been a factor I guess.

He was trained for western pleasure, but the man was using him for roping. Apparently he was pretty good at it because he used him in rodeos and actually won.

Thanks all, I'm going to be contacting some people to see if I can put a stop to this.

I'm going to making up fliers, making calls to the vet he goes to, etc to see if anyone calls.

rodriguezpoultry - Who's got your horse???? Don't see any
reason you can't put a name on here. And, also have an "inside"
on the "ropers" here in Cherokee County. Bill's family has
been here since 1909, so if he doesn't already know him, he'll
know somebody that does. What does he call the horse?
Either post the particulars on here, or send me a PM with all
the information you can.

Also, need the last address where your horse was kept. Norman
Fisher, Cherokee County Sheriff, is a life-long family friend. When
we can get your horse located, we'll call him.

Happy to do anything we can to help. This deal stinks !!!!

Have a good one !

Hey folks just want to let everyone know some info.
I went to the KOA today to check on stuff.
From all the posts I have read, I was pretty sure we had reserved all of the cabins but I found out there are still two cabins and the lodge cabin available.
I didn't ask for names of who had reserved what in the way of cabins but I would encourage those that have a made a cabin reservation to check back with KOA and make sure they have you down.
From what they told me, our chicken folks have reserved two RV sites and three of the smaller cabins.
For those that have made reservations pm and let me know and I will do the math and see if there are any problems.
Thanks,
Monty

Well in addition to the hen I lost yesterday, I had a Marans pullet go suicidal this morning. I found her hanging upside down by her foot from the wire pen. She was about three feet off the ground.
Stupid bird!
