Hubby came home from work and we decided to take the new truck out and look for houses for my aunt. Long story short, he ended up getting to break his truck in early and we catch some burglars in progress! So I'm sitting in the truck now while he helps his night shift coworkers... Exciting night! I told him he takes me on the strangest dates. Lol

Dandelion - If you don't come back then I guessw I win the late night challenge. Lol. Sorry about your dubbing. If you can do it then you're a stronger person than I am. There's just no way, I rank that right up there with declawing cats: couldn't do it.

Well now that I'm home from filming my own episode of cops, I'm gonna get some sleep! Night everyone!

Still here.

I'm am looking for the show results from last year's show in Shawnee. I was looking at it just a few days ago. Am I losing it? I want to see how popular the colors are that I got.

Congrats on the hatch Andi. I was that way with my first one too. Dande what do you have in yours?

Morning everyone! It seems to be rather chilly this morning. Now I am worried about the cochin's. Last night they were asleep right against the door.

At least it's hump day so I have survived half the week....

Morning Carah...and everyone else....she's the only one I saw on...anyway I was just sitting here thinking....if Adam and Eve hadn't gone and sinned in the garden we could have all been out playing with our birds...enjoying this nice fall weather and had POOPS anytime we wanted!!

Oh well, just a thought ...maybe a dumb thought but it sure would have been fun.

Have a Blessed Day everyone!

Red River Brand has 20% layer pellets. Dandilion mentioned it back in the Spring - it is made in the Durant area - I found it in OKC and like it.

But will your chickens eat it?

PS: It's too early!

Sooner, I have 1 Dutch Bantam, 2 Cochin Frizzle Bantams, 2 Cochin Bantams, 3 Silver Spangled Hamburgs, 3 Sicilian Buttercups, 1 Ameruacana Bantam. Later I have 2 Black Australorps and 22 Stimpy White Rocks.

The Dutch, Frizzle and White Rocks are from others and the rest you could call fertility checks.

I have Pyncheon Bantams coming very soon. This spring, I have Blue Laced Red Wyandottes that are supposed to make the scene.

I have to get to building cages. My living room is crowing already. I never have the cages immediately available when I bring home birds. When I weighed the birds last night, they ranged from 12 oz. to a monster of 23 oz. The Moderns are so cool to look at!

I use Purina Gamebird Layena, but by itself the protein may be too high. I have a complicated formula of additives that I mix with it that lowers the protein but makes it more nutritious altogether. I get mine at Farmers Feed in Sapulpa.

Mine like it. I've never had a problem with any chicken eating it. It's a lot cheaper in price than Purina.
