Brooders or Hatchers, good Brooders are easy to make.

AL

Brooders. I want them that are covered with the heating element and not a heat lamp with a small indicator bulb.

Morning or ahhh nooning or whatever!! It is cold here in central northern ok. Had to take the kids to church, do some laundry and now can sit down and catch up, the eye problem if I remember rightly from years past is caused by a sinus infection and the VetRX is one of the best ways to treat it, we always put a couple of drops under each wing and rubbed it in then put a drop on your finger tip and rub it around the eye and nose sear, this combined with the antibiotic should knock it out pretty quick. Al I thought you looked real nice in the dress in a Clinger kinda way!!! LOL Have a good day all!!! Lynn

I have this brooder I built in the coop and use this high speed heating element inside.

AL
This brooder is tall enough to keep them from flying out, and has a 1/4" hardware cloth mesh for a bottom to keep it clean, I just clean under it when needed, easy.

This element screws into a 110v light socket. not kept in the brooder when not in use.

"Covered with the heating element"? I don't understand.

Instead of the home made open top with the heat lamp as the source of heat. In the GQF or Brower models they have a bar with a heating element.

Yes it will work great in a bator, I plan to use it in my next bator build, they come in a variety of wattages from 250-600 watts all work at 110v.

Okay, thanks. Sounds like what I might need for the serverbator. Where can I get them and what are they called? Is it something Lowes or HD might carry?
