If you are talking about a 12 step program to "becoming" addicted, then learning how to make cages is definately a step in the right direction.

Actually, I am jealous of your ability to make a cage. I waste as many clips as I get placed correctly, because I still haven't mastered the art of putting the clips in the J pliers and squeezing just right.

Yep I'm on that 12 step program! LOL.

I only messed up a couple of clips before I got the hang of it. They are a bugger to take off once closed. The pliers made my hands sore, I will wear gloves next time.

Wire cutters and a pair of needle nose pliers make them easier to remove. Yes, that is the voice of experience

I usually get there about 10 or so. Often times there are still some cooping-in but the sale area usually comes alive by then.

Many that have birds in the sale area often have more (and better) birds out in the truck or trailer that they have so don't be afraid to ask them.

Well folks....I hate to leave good company but I've got to get some baby blankets finished for a friend. My husband has been hollering from the other room asking what I'm laughing about. Who would have ever thought that we'd still be getting a good laugh over our entertainment at POOPS.

Come to think of it....I think the 4 of them may be re-incarnated roosters with those dance steps they had....somehow I see those same dance steps every evening out in the chicken pen from my roos...strutting their stuff!!!LOL
