It poured here a bit ago and now it's gone.....wind is awful!! Getting ready to go out and check hens.

I am now officially soaked.... Went out during a break in everthing to get hens fed etc and WHOOSH! Big downpour!!! My faithful sidekick Stu....(who looks like a chow) s drenched. I got him in California 13 years ago....He was sitting on our uncovered back porch in the deluge with this look on his face like, "I did not sign on to be a farm dog." He's awesome...never complains...longsuffering!!! Of course he has been known to snack on the occasional chicken....

I'd like to go back to bed and pull the covers over my head, just after I read some more Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

I'm just now getting around to reading the series.

Rainy weather makes me lazy...
