OOHHHHH so now your a comedian LOL, How are your pens holding up, makes me wish I had Ducks on a day like today. Are you & Jared hunting this weekend ??.

AL

Pens are muddy and all of the birds can get out of the rain if they want to. Problem is they like to get wet and think I am gonna dry them off. Stupid chickens!

It is still pouring here again.

Yes we are leaving this evening and will be back Sunday sometime. Sooner if he tags out.

Mannford is not far from Tulsa, CleoChick...but I don't have hatching eggs...
Anyway, didn't I see you say you had plenty of chicks already? Went from like 0 to 300 in 21 days, didn't you? ...you got it bad, girlfriend. Poor hatch-addicted thing. Let me go find the phone number for that Intervention reality show...

I am thinking a meet-Up at Freddie's. Sorry I can't make it but you guys have fun.

Henny-sorry I got in the way and have fun at WOF. Monty, I liked to carp & bass too.

I think maybe it might be too thick but then again for a couple of bucks it's worth a try, plus trying to get it attached to the rubber may also be a sticking point.

AL

Why not take the same tin idea, tape the heat trace to the lid, and fill said tin bottom with some insulation? No worries about finding something to stick to rubber, weathering of heat tape, or losing heat to ground or whatever. You could also rig it with a hole in one side toward the top for a piece of PVC pipe large enough for your extension cord to fit it and make your electrical connection there inside the tin for safety.

I typed this all up once and about the time I moved the mouse to submit, my computer got an error and closed the program.

I have a pair of five pound pigeons. Someone said they are White Cornish Bantams.
I tried to give them to Teach and Al but they didn't beleive they were pigeons either.

Actually I hatched 88 and have lost 3. I was just thinking of making my husband suffer a little for making a trip to reload ammo.

I really don't "need" anymore, but if someone had some that were different from what I already have then...
And you know when you hatch that many the majority will probably be roos. I plan on being able to help supply this part of the state with started birds and chicks in the spring. There is no one close who has birds, so if I use that as an excuse my husband is less likely to complain about the numbers.
