What a way to ruin a one stop light town. I think I stopped at one of them when I came through last spring.

I have no idea, but I truly believe that each state has their wack job drivers.

Colorado they think their cars are able to over come heavy snow...(too many times we would see car drivers try and 4 wheel drive in the snow)

Oklahoma: Drivers stay in the slow lane even though there is room for them to move over to the left lane... when Someone is needing to Merge off the ramp... and dont get me started on the stop lights

California drive too slow..

JEANNIE

Why did the chicken join the band?
Because he had the drumsticks!

Yes!!! It's terrible!!!! Oklahomans also don't know what to do at Yield signs!!!!!

I lived on the Central Coast in California, and loved the way they drove there. They moved over when you wanted to merge, didn't drive too slow, and if they were driving fast, they weren't completely reckless about it.

I have a cochin laying and I am thinking that she may be going broody so everyone cross yer fingers for me lol Prayers going out for teach and gerald, and anyone else that needs it!!!! Carla keep us updated and Teach keep yer head up buddy!!!!

OK...just looked up a post abouta lady who had a chicken or a duck or something and it got a wound that got infected and they said to remove all proud flesh...I gotta go back in...

(*In best Dr. McCoy impersonation: "Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not a miracle worker!"*)

Matt, I've been avoiding replying to your post that had all those adorable chicks pictures it in

But, I just wanted to say that if I had a brooder set up, I would definitely be interested (*tries to convince myself that I am not interested as it is*)
I really like those first Cochins, the Partridge ones...... Oh, and the last one pictured with the Cochins is a Mille Fleur d'Uccle.... I like her too!

Hi All!!

All of my bantam cochins are sold now, Donna took them all, thanks Donna!!

I have 11 new fuzzy butts so far with more peepin in the incubator. These are the dark red RIR's from Imogene (TatersChickens on BYC). Here's pics of the fuzzy butts.

Thanks!! Ya know I thought that last one was a Millie but I wasn't sure.... but that's OK, I passed her off as a Cochin and now Donna has her

Sorry Donna!! I'll come pick her up if you don't want her.

The only two things that bother me about OK driving is 1) the way they cut corners. You are getting ready to make a right and have to watch for the guy making a left turn from that road. Apparently there is no such thing as a 90 degree angle here. And 2) they don't yield when they are supposed to.

The only things I don't like about California driving is everything.

The only driver worse than a California driver is a Texas driver. I see a driver do something incredibly stupid and I look for the Texas plates. Or, I see Texas plates and I slow way down and get the heck out of the way. Sometimes I then count the seconds before they do something stupid.

It's usually in the single digits.
