Pretty rooster! Well, there have been some chicken issues brought up by the family.... So the two newbies are still in their box in the house... Please keep me in your prayers, this fight is getting ugly.

I hope I get to go but I may be out of town. Just my luck. The first one here in over a year and I might be gone. If I am here though you are more than welcome to go with me. The auction starts at five but the chickens will be the last things they sell.

The chickens are happy in their pen now.

The issue was at least temporarily resolved. It pretty much comes down to my little sister being furious that I've moved back home. So if anyone's selling a house in the country for a good price... *haha*

Monty, are you talking about the exotic animal auction? Oh, and do you have J Family on our Okie list?

I got to meet Kasi/luvzmybabys? today...............seems her and I had been to same ad from craigslist and got chicken pen supplies.......another nice peeps from here !

Don't you hate it when you can't fire your help! *haha* If I was any stronger than you I'd bring the chicken and help finish the pens. But I'm pretty wussy. *ha*

Hey everyone Back from My Long Day of treasure hunting I think I have everything for the 5 breeder coops except for a few sheets of plywood for the floors. Plus some stuff for my memoery garden....I WILL GET IT ALL DONE coops first then landscaping the memory garden. It may take a few years but I will get it all done the breeder coops have to be done in the next few weeks,,,,It was very nice to meet you Kathleen as I was driving out I saw your silver roo running across the yard I looked over and 2 of the hens had wondered away from the crowd and he was herding them back over what a good little roo. Is anyone planning on going to Prague on the 15th? my hubbie is addicted now so wse will probably go to each or every other one. It stinks that he works night so he can't go to any of the night time auctions with me. Well enough whinning I have to get incubator cleaned up so the next set can go in Tomorrow. After the last 2 sets of my eggs and then the 2 shipments this month I will be done until the fall I have to be really no more chicks until fall. If I keep telling myslef this I will beleive it sooner or later.

Hi,
I finally got ahold of my brother...
I knew there was a auction/swap for small animals and all sundry types of things just over the border...
It is at Monroe, OK. It is the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month (when it warms up) usually in March...starts around 6:30
It is about 10 miles from Hartford, AR.
Leaving AR you will be on Hwy 96, going to OK it will turn into Hwy 83. There is a sign out by the road...it is a metal building with some corrals around. (I really think it was green, or had some green on it.)
Hope this helps...it was a lot of fun when I went.
