I want to thank everybody for all of the kind words and support. I just got off of the phone with Betsy, she is so kind. My daughter and I are going to go and say hi to her and pickup a bator to try and save the eggs. Keep you fingers crossed for us, maybe the eggs will make it.

On the other note we have the barn all spring cleaned up, I guess I have to try and find some sort of positive note (kind of hard after todays chicken tornado massacre). I am thinking of going to Shawnee, but I am still not sure yet we may have other obligations. Well, I am going to try and get some dinner going. I haven't ate all day (amazingly have not felt hungry), but I know the rest of the family is probably hungry. Again thank you for all being such a great chicken family!

Sooner I am here but just dont know what to tell you on your bird, the only thing that I can think of is respiratory maybe something clogging the nasal passages but I am by no means a expert!

Elsewhere I guess, Wed. so some are at services and others are working.

I've got a few tabs open on IE-8 and am doing research and other things.

Oh and I am trying to get into the spirit of the season with some music.

I spent most of my day doing reserch, I have no desire to do that tonight. I am cold and tired. I still didn't get the tree decorated.

Completely forgot tonight is WEd.

Les you bring anything to sell at Shawnee??

I have pretty much thinned down the flock for winter but I am going to pick up some birds. Ater all of these years my number of breeds are just a few. Most of the pullets I hatch go into the layer flock unless they are exceptional.

But next year I hope to have a big surplus of NNs that are show quality.

Q - Before I started wearing sturdy tennis shoes to combat stress fractures in my feet, when I used to find a shoe that was comfortable, I would buy one in every color it came in.

Unfortunatly too we won't even be able to show this year either. Teva has to work Sunday and I have an eye thing going on to where some days I can't drive.

Ironic really as I made a good living for years driving over the road.

That is great Q, I know what you mean about not knowing what you want. I am to the point that I want to get rid of the remaining extra roo's so I can put the crevies in that pen. Then I have Madison's juvies from the fall POOPS to deal with. I think I am going to have to like cold weather enough to build a couple of more coops like the last one.

What will you be looking for Les??

I have never wanted to hatch eggs in the winter but this year I am finding myself making sure that I stay far away from hatching eggs. Everyone on here is making me jealous!
