Good morning everyone. It has been about a month since I've been on here. There is no way i'm going back thru all those posts. I am not liking this weather and neither are my chickens. I am looking forward to the Shawnee show, hope most of the okies can attend.

City you should really be going to Shawnee as well, so lets do this we will be going through Tulsa about 1 Friday afternoon we will meet you at Hard Rock and you can throw your stuff in the back and ride down with us there will be plenty of room!!! And no arguing!!! LOL

Aprons for curtains is a cute idea. I bought a quantity of vintage aprons at an auction a few years ago and that would be a great way to actually use them. Do you have a rod that you pin them to, or what do you attach the clothes pins to? We have lived in this house almost 10 years and since we don't have any houses close to the back of our home, I have never felt the need for curtains in my dining room. The house behind us has recently been sold and I saw truck lights of someone turning around in their backyard the other night. It is making me reconsider the need for curtains

I just now saw this so I apologize for not responding timely, I use spring rods.. Here is a picture... hope you can see it.. I did this because I was too cheap to buy curtains and the curtains I did want were too pricy for me to spend.. I have swapped out the aprons for look change as like you have quite a bit of vintage ones that I got in a auction or thrift store.. My friends think I am really hill billy but alot of it is the way I like to see things.. Make do or do with out... Right now I have some checked fabric on the window and I use the clothes pin to hold it up and then I use another one to make it "fan" by going up the middle.. Would show you a pic but cant locate my camera

We really are going to miss you down there, Carolyn was upset when she found out that you wasnt going to go well I guess there is always next time, I told her the next time that she took the kids to the dentist that she should get ahold of you and then maybe you 2 could do lunch!!!
