Let's hope that works! That must be a really sad situation! Loosing birds is hard, but not knowing what is causing it is even harder

they sure have that dinosaur look! that middle one is beatiful! what kind of personality are they?

They were free rangers when Richard caught them up and this might be the third time they have been handled. They are very people friendly and love attention. No problems handling them even though they had not been handled much.

They can be hard on other birds however if they want to start something.

Good guesses, and he does look like a former power lifter to me, but I seriously doubt weightlifting. It was oddly taboo for boxers back in the day. Supposed to make us muscle bound and slow and make us tire easy.

I quit lifting when I became a fighter because of that stuff.

So we are trying to think of as many projects to have on hand for them to labour with while they are here.. .HA HA HA so they can go back to CA and say they didnt vaca but WORK.. muwhaaa Just kidding, actually maybe not really... totally

Right now we are (jason and I) having major major flash backs to our youth by watching Earnest Goes To Camp Its the one Earnest movie that I have a hard time watching as it always would make me cry.... Because I thought the camp kids were so mean to Earnest... even now it still bothers me

Our kids are LOVING it, I sure do miss the good shows of my youth though!

So there my good fellow, if it wasn't for Fletcher we wouldn't have anything to Jaw about LOL. Are you needing some pro processors at the Ranch Tomorrow. Doin the deed on Cornish is not for the faint of heart.

You know I'm just giving you a hard time, Al. I have decided you are right about that auction. I'm going just because it is an auction and has birds, two of my favorite things. Plus a friend of mine is going to sell some birds there and I'm giving him a rooster. We figured that would be a good place to get together for it. He's the guy who is going to sell me some of those Salatin rabbits in a couple of months.

On the processing, I think I'm going to try to handle this batch by myself. I may be sorry afterward, but I gotta grow up some time.

Thanks all the same, though. I appreciate the offer.

Jeannie: You want to get them in the ground around Jan- feb and no later, they do better in this climate come spring if they have been in the ground for a few months.

I've been searching the craigslist ad's from all around ... including neighboring states. I want some fainting goats for Christmas. Nobody in Oklahoma seems to have any for sale right now.

Anyway, here's a free rooster in Wichita, Kansas. Is it a Saipan? It sure is a big, tall, fella & I'd be willing to bet that Les or Monty would love it! Think of a NN cross with that bird!
