My eyes, not being what they used to be thought you asked if she was gonna be having bulldog .

Don't laugh they serve that too but it's called Kagogi, but they like smaller pooches with curly tails, makes it easier to hang for displaying in Korean butcher shop windows. I'm just sayin.

That reminds me of the pork-on-a-stick that I bought from a street vendor in Olongopo, PI. A guy from my squad said "don't eat that, it's not really pork, they use monkey meat for that stuff". I asked him how he knew and he said "'cause your holding your 'pork' by it's finger"

I miss those days.

I am not a big fan of most Kimchi's as I have had the unfortunate opportunity to see how they prepare and age it, I'll pass. I do like alot of their foods although some of the really hot stuff is a bit much for my delicate pallet LOL.

In my experience, "aged" kimchi is

I do however like fresh cucumber kimchi enough that I sometimes make it to eat with seaweed and rice.

yes I can eat those types, they are fresh and not spicey, real good but most importantly Cucumber Kimchi doesn't stink.

aged kimchi has an odor that doesn't go away with brushing your teeth. It comes out of your pores. I could tell the minute I entered the house if my husband's older sons had eaten lunch at their mother's house. For a few hours after they ate kimchi, the odor lingered wherever they walked.

Marybeth it's funny you mention that, we used to call it Dragon breath and yes it is quite distinctive. It stems from all of the heavy use of garlic and hot spices. I developed a sort of Gag reflex to those strong smells after my second tour in Korea.

Merry Christmas to you an a Happy New Year. Do you have to keep your birds in side this time of year..? ?

Same to you Michael. No, my birds don't even all go into the somewhat enclosed coop. A bunch of them roost out in the run on some lumber I set up but I'm not dealing with near as cold temps or as much humidity and precipitation. I still really need to get some pics of the birds that we still have some day to post but my setup is nothing fancy. I did sell 31 rooster and several hens/pairs. The flock is down to about 60-70 now. Thanks for asking.
