So Buck sounds like OKC may be the center of a 50 mile radius! I'm just saying!

Matt I always heard they colored them with dye in the egg. Have you noticed how vibrant the colors are now a days. I rember when I was a kid( yeah I can still remember back that far!) the colors were real light but we loved them. They were always leghorn roos. I really like the new colors. I wish they would do pullets tho. Some one had the bright ideal of making colored pigeons! They dyed white ones with somekind of food coloring. It was really neat seeing green and pink and blue pigeons flying around!

Hey all! Been a while since I've posted. Got a quick question, for those of you who sell eggs, what do you get for a dozen? I am getting more than we can eat and a guy that my husband works with wants to buy some. I have no idea what to charge. Any advice would be helpful.
Also on the chick dying, could you use kool aid? I know that they have used it on other animals and it is non toxic.

Morning Okies. Another ninja post to say I have a cousin coming in from OK to visit, yea! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everybody.

On the chick coloring, search for avian embryo (an article from MS State) and it tells you all about it. It is a really good article for any thing egg to chick related.

OMG... I would throw them out first!!! But usually if I have more than I can do with...I give them to folks who are struggling... they APPRECIATE them! .75 ! HMPH!!
