Phantom will probably lay some nice green tinted eggs.

Although young I'm not seeing the pointed feathering in the area in front of the tail (saddle) nor on the neck. (hackles) With Americanas though they are sometimes slow to mature. Some will stay hen feathered till their first molt.

Ok I wont write about or ask about those kind of chickens again. I still feel that they are the best looking kind of fowl there is.The roosters are absolutely stunning.Thats all I gots to say on them.

nobody was talking about the laws on them or what they were doing with them .just about how good looking the breed is so i think we will be OK

you can raise the OEGB with everything else. People think they are naturally mean, not really true. Some of them csn be really aggressive but so can other chickens. We have a bunch of them and they like to jump into our hands to be pet. Just like any other chicken they will fight for pecking order. So long as you are not raising them to fight with others, they usually dont.

I have a rooster pen right now for my spare roosters, standard and bantam breed and the meanest one in there is my golden sebright. The oegbs get along with everybody.

So cute! I have no idea why I was surprised by Phantom's muff... I guess it was more along the lines of one day it wasn't there, the next day it was!

I like the ameraucanas. I have a few mixed colors other than that I have 2 blue girls and 3 white girls. I need a blue roo, my roo is wheaten and I would love to hatch more blue and white babies than anything else.
