Works pretty well on the kids friends, and my kids just go along with it. Its funny when we get a young gullable kid over here. you can just see the look in their eye trying to figure out if we are telling the truth.

I love messing with kids heads like that. They are like wait, really, wow Char your parents are weird. LOL Of course, Char knows better and is sometimes the spoiler, although she is starting to get into the act too. Most of my friends know us pretty well, but it is actually funny bcs now they are expecting it and when it is for real I have to convince them I am serious. But then it turns right back on them bcs the next time then they fall for it again. LOL I love a good joke or prank. Larry and I can really get people going.

The frizzle NNs are the only ones that don't creep me out/bother me. I don't even particularly think that SG silkies are pretty either (I think I prefer the look of a silkie with all its feathers...

) however, if I were to GET any NNs, they'd be the frizzle ones that OKCarla posted pictures of earlier.

In all honesty though, I prefer chickens with *extra* feathers, like feathered feet and such. The big tight feathered rump of a cochin, for example... or the beauty of the brahma. I've not seen the salmon favorelle in person yet, so I'm not sure if I will be drawn to them as much... not much on muffs.

So if I wanna take a roo to Fletcher, what do I need to do? Just stuff it in whatever cage and bring it with me? Do I have to be early? Oh shoot. I don't know if I have a cage that will fit him. He's too tall for my grow-out cages. Maybe I'll just duct tape him and throw him in the hatch (I drive a hatchback).

I was thinking this very thing. These little ones are making quite a bit of dust and I am tired of dusting every day to try and keep up with them.

I'm going to try it tomorrow. The pine is getting to us big time, plus I think one of my awesome co-irkers gave me a darned cold. Yeah, one of the guys who has like 1500 sick hours, and comes to work with the plague to get those of us sick who don't have much leave.

Do you need a cage to take him in? you could tape him in the back but he might be missing alot of feathers by the time you get him there.

you will need to be there a little early to get him checked in. The earlier you get him there the earlier he will be sold.
