Okies in the BYC The Original

Evenin' everyone! What beautiful weather we are having!! I came home today pulled in the driveway and well I didnt go any farther, I sunk!!! We have a 8 inch base of compaction rock and it is all but gone!!

On the chicken subject I am looking for some Black Silkie hens and a Silkie Rooster, would like them to have nice beards, and of show quality. I have one lone hen that needs some friends!!

Idabel/Broken Bow area is pretty country.

yeah its beautiful just not enough work, we try to go visit the house once or twice a month and my uncle, lot of history for my family down there, best part is broken bow lake early in the mornin when the fog is lifting.

I have to work overtime all weekend long .... both Saturday & Sunday 10 hours each day

Yup, not much work at all unelss you get in with lumber companies, paper mills or the Choctaws.

I grew up in pickens, Moved to Battiest, Met my husband in brokenbow, Move to Idabel, Then the military called us here

Aint that the truth.. You cant even afford to have animals there...including chickens... Thats why We are retiring here, so we can still have employment and animals... Beautiful, just no money!
