Thank you, I cant believe my Daughter will be 14 in less than 3 weeks... She gets passed for a 11 year old many a times, I am grateful she just laughs since she knows she is lil for her age..lol and the animals adore her she has a gentle spirit when it comes to the Lords Creatures..

Went an got feed this afternoon in the pickup bed trailer at carnagie coop west of hear. Its half the prise as the feed stores in okc. I got a load of weat this time the chickens like it an pigeons. I bot a load of corn chops insted of hole corn last time to mixs but if you dont feed thim chops in a feeder they waste alot of it.

Its 9.40 milo is 6.10 an corn 7.20 a 100lbs or some wer around that . Calvin said scratch grain was like 10 or 11 for 50lb bag in Spencer.

I just got back from the Durant chicken auction. I took 7 birds and came back with 7 birds.

And checked my messages and I have 18 eggs put in the mail for me today... I think I'm going to have my 5 acres filled up with chickens here in about 2 years. I did at least come back with less pounds of chicken.

I'm going to bed now. I think everybody else did a while ago...

I have three Texas A&M quail that are free to a good home.

wish i lived closer-- our dogs got sentenced to a life behind a fence for something like that-

over the weekend one of them got out- mind you - i am watching as she races across the pasture after a squirrel- right through the flock of chickens without breaking stride... trees the squirrel, turns around, i figure the chickens are history- this dog has a history of chasing guineas, well, back through the flock to see if the neighbors cattle are out so she can chase them! just add a few gray hairs to my head...then she runs up to me like nothing is wrong- now the other dog, who kills chickens is still behind the fence trying to figure things out...

Morning everyone!!! Those blood hound pups sound great if ya got anymore left I am up for one I need a good outside dog!! Al hope you get alot done before that rain set in!! What is the weather suppose to be like down that way for the Blanchard Auction? I have a total of 17 chicks now with 3 pips the other eggs are looking pretty inactive, but regardless I have to get the hatched ones out today, I have some that are 3 days today and dont wanna risk losing them, hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Morning Okies,

The sun appears to be coming up nicely this fine Lords day. I have but mere min before my own rag a muffins are awake and we begin our day on the homestead.
This chicken buisness has me dreaming up chickens with anxiety... so darn all of ya for doing this to me..
