Teach....Glad you're ok. Everyone has been asking about you....doing a disappearing act. The way my students at school has acted this week I would like to not be found for awhile. LOL

My rottenest kid in the class was getting sick today (those kind NEVER get sick) and he wanted to crawl up on my lap. He came up to me and said"Mrs. Huffaker, I'm REALLY sick". My heart just sunk for him. Even though he's a turd I love him to death. I pulled him up on my lap, he snuggled his face down in the crook of my neck, and went to sleep. I ALMOST forgot how rotten he can be. LOL Gotta love 'em.

I don't remember exactly but I paid around $7 or $8 for a 50lb bag of scratch from Tractor and supply in Stillwater. If you buy in bulk, which only takes 20 bags and it can be a mix of different types of feed, they give you a 10% discount too. I have bought 5 bags of starter and 10 bags of layer and 10 bags of scratch and got the bulk discount of 10%. I think they would have also included bags of dog food as part of the 20 too or rabbit food or what have you, but I am not for certain on that. I will have to ask next time. Oh speaking of rabbit food, I have a friend who feeds her chickens rabbit food, has anybody else heard of this.

It has been updated based on the most recent info that I have received.

Marybeth has to kickstart me into updating it because I forget that things change.
Change is something that I have pretty much always been against. Especially when it is something I like.

It is always a bad sign when you buy a dog at a bird sale...I know about it...I did it...I didn't leave...it was gonna be bad cuz i had already bought gerbils!

I have a total ban on students sitting on my lap or even mentioning such things! I do teach high school! That ain't funny! I have been known to hug but I always raise the question is it worth my job...in all cases I figured the kid needed it more than I needed my job...I am serious! Glad I have a little school where I know the folks!
