As for me, any day would be good. We have not been to one since we are still finding out information about who, what, when, where, how and why. I'm in the Army and just need to know 2 weeks in advance so I can put in for leave.

NN,

I did move South from where I was before, PA.

When I was in Iraq, it got up to 177 degrees one week for 6 of the 7 days.
The one day it didn't hit 177, it was only 174. It was so hot that we couldn't
find anyone moving around to cause trouble.

I sorry. I always hated Physical 'Torture' in PE.

Stray,

I hate it too but, at my age all exercise is torture.

Ya well I was thinking of a more doable number like around 80 or so.

It's hard to imagine walking around with all of the equipment on in that kind of heat.

I think last week got us spoiled. The Lord blessed us with a fantastic week of weather. Maybe He is just reminding us of what it could be like.

Hey everybody,

I want to buy some more guineas keets. Does anyone have some for sale???

At one point last summer I had over 200 of them. A friend of mine from Texas
wanted them so I let me have them. I sure do miss my guineas. I got most of
mine from Maud but a few were from Medicine Park. They were faithful layers
but like to hide their nest. Fun part was finding caches of eggs. Darn coyetes killed
most of them before I sold the rest.

Good Morning Everybody!!!

Well, it was wonderful time last night, I must say. Was great seeing all the awsome Okie BYC friends and meeting new ones. I think most of us were fairly conservative on bidding compared to what I have seen in the past, myself included. There were a lot of really nice birds there last night as well as alot of cages and stuff.
Quenston's Salmon Favorelles were a big hit. Bring pairs was a great idea since most of us just wanted one pair, that allowed us to bid on the pair we wanted. Of course I got an extra hen so I have a trio. I will be taking pictures soon of them. But they have already been named. The rooster is Blackbeard, Anne (for Anne Bonny) and Mary (Mary Read), all pirates. My favorelles will all be named after pirates. Just like all my peafowl are named after behavioral theoriest. I like to theme name my birds.

.

So I have a question someone on here may know. How do you trace electrical lines in the house to find a break? Got home last know and the power to the bathroom lights and the fridge outlet are not working. Uli said there was a flux of power, and he heard a critter under the trailer scrambling around, than when he went to use the restroom the light would not come on in either bathroom and the power to the fridge. Which seems to be the only things on that breaker. Weird how these trailers are wired. ???

Going to go out and play with the chickens for a while. Catch you all later!

Donnnnnnnaaaa, how dare you post pictures of THE most adorable chicks when some of us haven't had our incubator out in months

And I think your unidentified one is a Welsummer or Brown Leghorn... the leg color would be the definitive part... but I can't remember which has legs that color!

. Our crew was in rare form and raising cane

, although we have a disturbing trend developing LOL some of our newby to BYC seem to think it's Ok to come to an auction and not get a bid # and not buy anything
barnie.gif
, we Veterens must not be doing our jobs

LOL. The sale barn was packed and had a good selection of birds and equipment quite a bit more than we thought for a mid January sale, the sale ended @ 10:30 +/- . I hope everybody had a great time and just remember the table in the back always has empty seats for our Peeps.

Beth there are some calves on Craig's List in Jones. The pricing for them is about right and they are already started on grass and grain.

Thank you much...
My dear AnnaBell has a birthday idea list with calves on it...
She may kill me yet...
