I had to get seconds on the meatloaf...it was so good...just wish we were having meatloaf snadwhiches tomorrow....stupid steak fingers

Teach...you know those aren't really steak fingers. How many steaks have you ever seen with fingers.

You know that stuff they serve us in the school cafeteria is "MYSTERY MEAT".

Steak fingers, chicken nuggets, chicken fried steak...it's all the same...just different shapes. Probably left over scraps of when they are butchering...they just add a coating.

I hear ya girl! Most of our stuff is good but they send so much of the junk and they have to serve it...for those of you that don't know when you become a free/reduced type deal and get money then they tell you how to do stuff...like putting food on a plate you know the kid can't eat so they throw it away...yup same serving for 1st graders as for a senior!

My least fav is salsibury steak...that is wrong...very wrong...I think I will pack a lunch...maybe hotdogs

Sometimes our lunches are so bad even I won't eat it. Now that's bad. We have the same repeat meals so much. I don't know how there are any chickens left in this country if every school serves as much chicken as our school does.

And it certainly doesn't taste like chicken, at least not real chicken.

As for the entertainment at the next get-together, how about a talent show? That way, everyone that wants to can take part. We can even have a panel of judges to decide a winner and award some sort of prize(s).

Hello all!

Well we are getting things ready for the storm. Tomorrow we will be wrapping pens in visqueen to try to cut down on the wetness. And my mom and step dad are bringing the spare generator over just incase so I can plug in the bators and brooders and have heat in the house. It's going to be such fun! I just got more of my breeds to start laying and now this, Im not going to get eggs for weeks out of those breeds.
