What about putting extra weight in the back of the truck? I feel it helps with or without chains.

Might want some extra candles in case the battery supply runs out or some extra blankets in case it gets really cold?

Oh yeah, does your water depend on electricity? If so, you might want some extra buckets of water to flush the toilet with! This also works if your pipes freeze.

Just dropping by to say "Hi". We have spent all day
getting ready for "Mother Nature" to visit Oklahoma.
Still have enough to do that I hope she doesn't
dookie on our heads until tomorrow afternoon......
I keep checking different channels hoping that
someone knows something different....nope.
I don't remember the Governor of Oklahoma
ever making a "weather" statement before.
CityClucks, and all of you anywhere near
Tulsa....please take care through this mess.

Have read when y'all graduated.....LOL.... and
Pa-Pa and I don't even want to talk about it......

Stimp - please pull that cord one more time !
We don't need a double dose..........

Y'all take care through this mess !

BigOkie, you could be like the kids - when the weather is too bad to go to school, they seem to think they should be able to go to a movie or go to the mall.
You are going to have some awesome enclosures when you get them done. Did you have to take them apart to get them home or did you load them on a flat-bed trailer?

Good evening..... We didnt get near as much accomplished today as we would have liked... Eulaine, I am with you I hope Mother Nature holds off thru the night so we can finish tomorrow.

How is everybody this evening?

Stimp if you ran it till it ran out of gas the bowl on the carb. didn't clear. Then the gas evaporated out and left a nasty white powder behind so now the float is stuck and the jets are clogged. Depending on brand of engine unbolt the bowl from the bottom of the carb and use the B-12 on it and just spray the D.S. out of it, especially the jet at the bottom of the piece that hangs down in the bowl. Make sure the float works before you put it back together and it should fire right up.

Next time use Briggs and Stratton fuel stabilizer in the last tank of fuel and it will be ready any time you want to fire it off.

did all the running around today, perscriptiptions, animal feed, people food, wrapped the coop with those emergency blankets, hauled wood, and paid bills just in case we lose power, hate those late fees

according to channel 6 that warm air today will make it worse for the ice buildup, sigh... they are forcasting an inch of ice...
